Jody, you are amazing!!

I love how you are 'practicing in public' and bringing us along with you! The way you describe what goes on in your brain explains so much about me.

Over my 6 plus decades I have never analyzed why I do what I do, in the way I do it. (If that makes sense:-)

Things were so different when I was growing up. We didn't understand so many things and everyone (myself included) called me a 'space cadet' - i.e. - in another world.

Thanks you so much for the kind mention πŸ™ It's an honour to be on this journey with you.

Hi Jody. I had a similar experience when someone pointed me to the 12-week year-essentially breaking a year into 3 120 day sprints. I likes some of the guides but had similar overwhelm and I am definitely a "shiny object" person and like lots of random distractions in the midst of getting to what needs to get done. I have created a paper and pen task mgt process that has been working for me for going on 2 years. Would love to share if interested.

I'd love to see it!

I'm "re-realizing" this morning how fundamental the 'streak' is to much of my most productive periods. If I can be consistent for 3 or 4 days, it's enough to define a streak, and the compulsion to not break the streak can keep me going.

I'm working on getting back to 'analog' for some of my productivity right now after a recent conversation with another 'pen and paper task management system' person, recognizing that things that make me slow down and write by hand also help me remember and connect.
